Описание

Similar to Zuza27 phage. Produces tiny opaque plaques on the T. thermophilus HB8 lawn and does not lyse the liquid culture during the infection. Infected cells contain a plasmid replicative form that can be isolated using plasmid purification kits. It is probably (see the paper) that Zuza8 is capable of integration into the host genome.
